Track Workouts for Runners

Where:
Oconomowoc HS Track
When:
Wednesdays - 5:45 a.m. - April 12 - Aug 30, 2023

Details: 
The goal is to become more efficient by running faster than a “normal training run.” Drills and skills will be a part of every warm-up.
Time: 
Workouts start at 5:40 sharp
We are usually done by 6:40
Workouts: 
Workouts are progressive. Each week we build. Paces are determined by a time trial held week two. Paces for each individual are given prior to each workout.
A Timex Ironman watch is the best tool for our workouts. A Garmin is too hard to clear out after short intervals.
We always pass on the outside- do not move over to allow a faster runner lane one. This creates confusion. Please do not run 2 abreast during intervals.
The track is only open to us from 5:30- 7:00 a.m. M- F.
